We are Code Intelligence, an IT security startup founded in 2017. We make software safer by enabling companies to simplify their software testing. Our solution enhances security testing efficiency for experts and enables developers without IT security expertise to perform continuous automated security and reliability tests. The Founders

The founders of Code Intelligence have proven experience in the field of Usable Security for IT experts and provide business expertise.

Sergej Dechand


Sergej is an expert in usability aspects of IT-Security and worked as a project manager at Fraunhofer FKIE.


Dr. Henning Perl


Henning worked as a project manager at Fraunhofer FKIE in addition to his PhD on vulnerabilities in open source programs and is an advocate of fuzz-driven development.


Philipp Langnickel


Philipp is a former co-founder and worked as Business Development Manager after his business studies and built up startups in the seed phase.


Dr. Khaled Yakdan


Khaled is an expert in binary code analysis and worked as malware analyst at Fraunhofer FKIE in addition to his PhD. He deals with fuzzing on a binary level.

Winner of the Open Bosch Award

Code Intelligence was awarded the Open Bosch Award 2019. The award honors the world's most successful start-up cooperations with the technology and service company Bosch. Code Intelligence received the award for their work on the automation of software security tests together with Bosch Corporate Research.
